River the old Cree Wolf. Grey wolves were re-introduced to Yellowstone National Park in the US 25 years ago. The result has been a complete stabilising of the entire eco system. As they have curbed the number of grazing animals such as elk, there has been an increase growth of willow and aspen trees, stabilising the riverbanks. The trees also brought in more bird and insect life, eagles, beavers, foxes and badgers to these areas.
