Mini Squirrel card
Square, 120mm x 120mm
“Eichhörnchen” means squirrel in German. The word is notoriously difficult for non-native speakers to pronounce, so my German-speaking family delights in asking visitors to pronounce it.
The first time my Kiwi husband visited my childhood home in the northern hemisphere, he came running in shouting “Look! Look!! There’s a SQUIRREL!!” His great excitement at seeing a very commonplace creature became the source of many jokes. – by Marina
