Mdme. Bouffant is my rather skittish black Araucana bantam. She is extremely elusive, and with 5 acres of property to run around in, the only way i know she still lives with me is by looking for her pale blue eggs which lay all over the place!
Araucana's are a domstic breed from Chile, the name deriving from the Araucana region. They are one if the very few breeds in the world that produce blue/green coloured eggs.
