'Grace' Fox SRA2 Open Edition Print
Grace is our first open edition SRA2 print.
Nikki says" Grace was originally drawn as a commission for a lovely client visiting from Australia. The Red Fox was introduced into Australia in the 1830s for the traditional sport of fox hunting. They adapted to their new climate too well, and are now classified as a pest - but they are still quietly loved by a few.
In folklore, they are a symbol of cunning and trickery, and often are used to depict intelligence overcoming both malevolence and brute strength.
Me personally? I love the childhood story imagery of the fox, hunting in the moonlight; dreaming of bringing home a fine, fat goose to feed his family."
